David Anderson – Double Red Cell Donor
Dave began donating in 1966 during the Vietnam War. He was a student at the time and needed his parent’s permission to donate. As an adult, Dave became a regular blood donor, giving as often as he was needed. Staff at RRVBC recruited Dave to become a double red cell donor (DRBC). Dave now donates DRBC every 16 weeks, giving 2 units of red cells with each donation.
