Volunteering

It takes more than blood to run the Rock River Valley Blood Center. And many people choose to help us in different ways.

The Rock River Valley Blood Center is committed to utilizing volunteers to provide critical services to our donors, patients, and staff. It is our belief that caring individuals with proper training, guidance and support can perform a variety of jobs which allow Blood Center staff to concentrate on the more technical and specialized aspects of providing services to those we serve.

A cornerstone of our philosophy is that we will not replace paid staff with volunteers, yet we will make every attempt to utilize volunteers when opportunities present themselves.

At the heart or our volunteer philosophy is our commitment to you: that we will provide you with the best volunteer experience, while meeting the needs of our donors, patients, and the community now and in the future.

We offer many volunteer opportunities. Our hours are flexible and the tasks are fun and fulfilling.
