ROCKFORD, Ill. (Dec 7, 2020) – ‘Twas the month of Christmas and all through the region, blood was needed – to save lives is the reason.
Individuals who donate blood between December 7 and January 2 will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card. We’ll announce two winners each week.
Everyone who presents to donate is eligible for the promotion. Donation status (i.e., if you’re deferred) does not disqualify. Promotions are valid at all four donor centers and all blood drives.
There continues to be an urgent need for blood donations (and plasma donations from individuals who’ve recovered from COVID-19) this holiday season. The country is experiencing a national blood shortage because of the ongoing pandemic.
