Rock River Valley Blood Center Relaunches Donor Appreciation Programs with New Gifts
Spin 6 and Four Seasons programs return to honor dedicated donors across the region

ROCKFORD, Ill. (November 3, 2025) – The Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) has reinstated its Spin 6 and Four Seasons donor appreciation programs with new gifts to thank donors for their ongoing support.

The Spin 6 program is for donors who complete six successful platelet donations within a 12-month period, and the Four Seasons program includes donors who complete four successful blood donations within a 12-month period. Donors meeting the criteria are now eligible to choose from one of two exclusive appreciation gifts:

  • A limited-edition Yeti® mug
  • A premium, limited edition hoodie

“Most donors give less than two times per year. These programs encourage donors to donate more frequently,” said Lisa Entrikin, CEO of RRVBC. “We hope these new, high-quality gifts continue to show our deep appreciation for the incredible generosity of our donors. Most importantly, it’s about the lives they help save with every donation. Their support means everything to us, and to the patients and families whose lives are touched by that generosity.”

Community members interested in joining the program can visit any of RRVBC’s four donor center locations or call 815-965-8751 for more information. Donors also can enroll at the time of any blood or platelet donation. Walk-ins are always welcome, and appointments can be scheduled online at rrvbc.org.

First-time donors should bring a photo ID. Appointments are encouraged to reduce wait times but are not required.
